Vouloir c'est Pouvoir.

I do believe that nothing can be conquered easily unless we don't have enough effort.
After 2 times of failure, I finally could make it because "V. to give up" isn't written down on my dictionary. I am saying about my effort to make a dessert which is "Tiramisu". I think it is the most well-known Italian dessert and I love its lovely meaning "Pull me up!" Yay :)
*Some Thai friends of mine thought it was a name of Japanese dessert or a kind of liquor. It might probably sound like Japanese.

Speaking of the preparation, it might be considered an easy menu for the others but it was my first time to try to cook it so I was such a dummy. I confess that I had to throw it away twice. That sucked but I learned from the mistakes so I kept moving on until I was able to make it.

For the first failure, it was my first time of making Tiramisu as well as using the hand mixer. Apparently, it was a clumsy time. I took too long time to beat the heavy cream so it became butter-like. The cream was supposed to be rising and fluffy. Then I had to throw it away.

For the second , I obviously noticed the big mistake which was one of the ingredients; homemade Mascarpone. It was between fluid and liquid. When I had mixed it with yolks, it was melted and became liquid. Plus, I soaked the lady fingers into the hot espresso instead of the cooled one so it became screwed up. Well, off to the trash again!

I went to buy Mascarpone at the supermarket and came back to remake it. I rolled smoothly this time :) Thanks to my strong effort and it makes me think that Tiramisu is really easy for making. Lastly, I'd like to share the recipe from my experience.
* It is quite difficult to find the following ingredients in Thailand. I recommend Villa Supermarket. You can find all ingredients there for sure.

Ingredients (for 2 persons)
3 yolks
2 tablespoons of sugar
250 g of Mascarpone
1 cup of cooled espresso
Lady fingers (Savoiardi in Italian)
1 tablespoon of Cocoa Powder
(No alcohol) Actually you can add the liquor like Kahlua or Cognac.

Preparation
- Make a cup of espresso adding the sugar as you like. Cool it off.
- Put the yolks adding 2 tablespoons of sugar in a stainless bowl.
- Beat it with the hand mixer.
with the fastest speed for 5 minutes until it becomes pale and thick.
- Add Mascarpone into the same bowl and mix it well. Add a tablespoon of espresso or liquor if any
There you go, the cream!
- Soak the lady fingers into the espresso just for a heart beat and put each in order into the tray.
- Put the cream onto the soaked lady fingers.
- Line up the soaked lady fingers again and repeat putting the cream.
- Garnish with the cocoa powder.
- Put it into the refrigerator up to 8 hours
PING! Tiramisu' is ready to served!!! YUMMMMMMM

"A" fresh start

Do you guys know what the hardest part of getting something started is?
For me, it is HOW we should go start. I am now doing likewise.lol

So many times, I bet, loads of projects/ plans or dreams of yours have popped up on your mind ...
You said to yourself "One day I will...." then it's gone with the wind.
You let it be only a daydream which has never been fulfilled.
"What a pity that I missed it!" is finally told from your own mouth when you feel you should have done that.
Therefore, if you don't wanna regret, just do it!

Writing a blog has been one of my interests.
I thought of starting do it and I should have done it since long time ago.
But well, here I am!
I don't set up myself the expectation about the numbers of readers.
The reason I happen right here is just I wanna do it so I do it. That's a self-explanatory.

Lastly, for anyone who is thinking of doing something new, just GO AHEAD!!!
Dare and be risk! 'cuz not only business is a risk but also LIVING.
Better late than never!!!
